Thank You

I just saw your comments. I guess I need to set up that automatic email. Maybe reading them would have helped me not have a fit this morning. =)

You are all right. Thank you. Byron, I do need to make this sustainable. The juice fast really did cut down my cravings, I usually really, really want sweets all day, but I haven't felt that craving since Sunday. Lisa, I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one that gains the weight back after a fast. The inches are more important. =) I appreciate the support and encouragement. Thanks again!

ARRRGGGG!!

If you're wondering, yes I'm mad! The past two days I have gained 3 lbs! Tell me, how does someone gain weight when all they eat is salad with lots of veggies and fat free dressing and a small amount of lean meat? I had a banana yesterday too and some cottage cheese, but come on! I am being so good and I can't lose it, but I am already losing it and it's only been a week!!!!

OK, so I took a breath and measured myself:

Waist: 41 (I was 44!)

Hips: 47 (I was 49 1/2!)

That makes me feel a little bit better. I know I need to keep my spirits up or I won't keep doing it.

I have been thinking about doing the hcg thing, still haven't totally committed to it yet, but I have been reading and watching all I can online. Because it's a pregnancy hormone I have to wait until after my next mensus, to make sure I'm not pregnant and to leave at least 10 days between taking hcg and having my period. I would really really love to be the size I was when I got married (only 5 1/2 years ago, I've never met anyone who has gain 55 pounds in 5 years, unless they were bed bound! I was definitely not!). There's got to be something wrong with me.

P.S. It bothers me when these beautiful women I know complain about their perfectly fine bodies! They may not be Tyra Banks when they take off their clothes, but they've had babies! I would die to look like any number of women in my ward. Please stop complaining unless you actually look bad, it make me feel bad (if you're not acceptable, how possibly could I be?). =) Sorry for my rantings and ravings, sometimes I just have to get it out. ;)

Drink That Juice!

The last two days all I drank was water and the Malibu Miracle Juice. I actually made it through. I was very tempted to eat last night because I was getting hungry and tired, but I didn't! I just went to bed a little earlier than usual.

I am proud of myself for waking up every morning this week and working out. Curtis gets up at 7:00am and the kids usually sleep until 8:30, so it is a perfect time and I am enjoying it.

I didn't realize how much I had been snacking. Every couple of minutes going to the pantry looking for something to nibble on. Just cutting that out will help a lot I'm sure.

My Triumphs So Far:

#1: I beat the records for Hoola Hooping on the Wii (3 min. and 10 min.). Curtis tried to beat my records and he couldn't! Ha!

#2: I lost over 5 pounds in two days! I am now 230.2! I am wondering how much of that will come back on when I actually eat a meal. =) I had a meal replacement for breakfast. I think I will have a healthy lunch and do a meal replacement for dinner.

#3: I did 45 minutes of Turbo Jam this morning! I haven't done that in a long, long time. And I was impressed with how my body remembered all the moves.

Here I Go!

So I have reached an all time high, my weight that is. I am starting this blog to keep track of my progress and share in my successes and (hopefully not too many) failures.

I started out interested in doing Isagenix, an MLM program that helped a friend of mine lose 150 pounds. She looks and feels great, but it costs close to $300 per month. It is a juice diet for 24-48 hours, then you use a meal replacement for 2 meals, eating a healthy lunch, repeating this pattern each week. I did a little research and decided to try Malibu Miracle 48 hour Juice Diet, which also has a meal replacement and this system was a whole lot less.

Today, I drank only the juice (which has acai, noni, goji, mangosteen, and pomegranate) and water all day and plan to do the same tomorrow.

I feel pretty good considering I didn't really eat anything today. I'm guessing tomorrow will be harder.

My Stats: (I'm glad I won't be able to hear your gasps. I'm temped not to put them on, but then how will I know how successful I am?)

Height: 5' 9 1/2" (I'm glad I don't have to worry about this number changing.)

Weight: 235.8 pounds (17 pounds heavier than when I got pregnant with Nathan, 56 pounds heavier since I got pregnant with Audrey and got married.)

Waist: 44"

Right Thigh: 30" (That's Curtis's waist! HELP! I think I might cry!)

Bust: 47"

Hips: 49 1/2"
